  title: derived GFED3 burned area fracttion in 0.5x0.5

  Approach: I divided the monthly area burned within each grid grid cell, original in units of 0.1 hectares, by the total area in in each land grid cell. Meanwhile, I also masked the ocean region by using GFED3 land-sea mask in 0.5x0.5 degrees. I also set all grid cells in desert areas to missing. The output files were transformed to netcdf format.
