title: Re-gridded MODIS albedo in 0.5x0.5 degree
Approach: To obtain albedo in 0.5x0.5 resolution from MODIS MCD43C3 16-day 0.05 degree CMG dataset, I averaged all available data in each grid cell of the 0.5x0.5 resolution from the original 0.05 degree resolution. To obtain the monthly data, the data in the original 16 day temporal resolution were first interpolated to daily data, and then averaged all available data based on the calendar date of each month.
