source_file: This product is generated from monthly CPC Merged Analysis of Precipitation Standard observations
title: derived CMAP precipitation
Approach: I read the monthly global precipitation data from original file, and interpolated from the original resolution in 2.5x2.5 degree to the final one in 0.5x0.5 degree. Meanwhile I also converted the unit from mm/day to Kg m-2 s-1. The final data were saved by each month and each year.
Temporal resolution: monthly
General information: This product was derived from CPC Merged Analysis of Precipitation (CMAP) excluding NCEP Reanalysis Data Set.
Spatial resolution: 0.5x0.5 degree
